End of Silence

It seems like forever since I last published a post. I’m still recovering from my surgery. I have a week and a half left in my sling but the muscles in my neck and shoulder are still pretty jacked. I still haven’t felt comfortable enough to climb on the trainer. I fully admit though that there’s little motivation at this time of year, laid up and heading into winter.

Work has been busy, and I should have more stuff to share on that front soon: a continuation of the authentication post and my latest obsession with Groovy and Grails.

Ephraim’s settling in well. He attended home coming last weekend and is off to Moab, UT next weekend for a trip with his coordinator.

And how about those Rockies? As I’m writing this Matt Holliday just put one over the fence to drive in three more runs putting the Rockies up by 5 in game for of the NLCS, all but sealing the deal.

Finally, congratulations to Chris, Bill, Truesdale, Dan, and Nicolette who raced the 24hrs of Money, err… that’s Moab last weekend. Also, Katie who continues to roll with two wins the previous weekend and a win in Cinci yesterday
